Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Byler Quarries is seeking an experienced mechanic with heavy equipment knowledge. A minimum of 3 years’ experience is preferred. Mining background a plus.

Qualifications:
- Must be self-motivated and committed to continuous improvement.
- Must have working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electronics, welding / fabrication and MSHA regulations.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Posses a valid PA driver’s license.
- Three years of mining related experience preferred.
- Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments.
- Must be able to clearly communicate and follow instructions.
- Ability to work overtime / flexible schedule.
- Candidate required to provide own tools.

Asphalt
Byler Quarries strives to be the superior asphalt supplier for our customers who range from large contractors to smaller paving operations. We offer PennDOT certified mixes, commercial/residential mixes and specialty mixes upon request. Trucking services for asphalt deliveries are also available.
Ready Mixed Concrete
Today’s concrete can be customized to perform to the specifications/requirements of almost any jobsite. At Byler Quarries, the process of ensuring you receive excellent performance starts before the truck gets to the job. Our sister company, Boger Concrete, operates a concrete production facility at our Fiddlers Elbow South Quarry. We have a trained Quality Control staff that ensures the material is produced to meet the job specifications and exceed customers’ expectations. Our technicians test in accordance with American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and American Concrete Institute (ACI) test methods.

Limestone
Fiddlers Elbow South quarry is rich with limestone and our team works diligently to fulfill our customers' needs. Limestone is a type of carbonate sedimentary rock and is the main source of the material lime, which can be used in steel manufacturing, mining, paper production, water treatment and purification, and plastic production. It also has a major role in the manufacturing of glass and in the agriculture industry.
PENNDOT Construction Materials
The Aggregate, Asphalt and Concrete plants are listed in PennDOT’s Bulletin 14, Bulletin 41 and Bulletin 42, respectively, so we are able to provide a variety of PennDOT certified construction materials to customers at our Fiddlers Elbow South Facilities. Our aggregates are also state certified in MD, NJ, and DE. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us for more information!
Delivery Services
We have a fleet of dump trucks and dump trailers to service contractors, homeowners and the agricultural industry with material delivery to your location. We save you big money by delivering ASTM C-33 concrete sand, mason sand, dairy bedding sand and washed gravel directly from our sand & gravel facilities. Additionally, we have partnered with a number of quarries and asphalt plants to provide limestone and recycled asphalt products.

Byler Quarries began in 2019 with the acquisition of Fiddlers Elbow South Quarry. The quarry is rich with limestone and we are continuously extracting materials to fulfil our customers’ needs. We will not only be providing limestone, but other standard PENNDOT construction materials and ready-mixed concrete from our newly established plant as well.
